Team Trophies to the top 2 teams in each division. Medals to the top 3 individuals in each division. Ribbons for 2-20 individuals in each division.
We will have some photo-ops at the awards with all of the place-winners and teams so stay through until the end!
Base Access and Parking Information:
Entering the Air Force Academy
All visitors must enter through the South Gate (Exit #150) – Academy Blvd.. Upon arrival to the security checkpoint the driver of the vehicle will state the name of the contest they are attending and provide them with a current driver’s license. They could also ask for your current vehicle registration and/or current proof of insurance. Everyone is subject to search when entering this federal installation. They may ask to open the trunk and/or perform a cursory check of the interior of the vehicle. You have the right to refuse such an inspection, however will not be allowed to enter. Drugs (to include medical marijuana), weapons, ammunition and explosives are not allowed at Air Academy events. Please know that we are very grateful to the USAFA for working with us on this issue. Please help us support their mission in keeping the USAFA a safe and secure military installation.
Stadium:
*Only Water is allowed on the field (no Gatorade etc.) No food including sunflower seeds
*Only service animals are allowed in stadium or at events. Spectators with Pets will be asked to leave the event.

Team Camps:
Team Camps are allowed under the Stadium bleachers and in the upper stadium bleachers. Keep canopies up at the top of the bleachers. Stay out of the areas that are coned and/or roped off. We may allow some team camps on the baseball field but will let you know on meet day at the packet pick-up.
At no time during the meet are spectators or coaches allowed on the football field which is the finish area.
Port-O-Lets and restroom facilities are located in the football stadium finish area. The starting line is about ¼ South of the stadium area, so allow extra time to get to the starting line during pre-race routines.
Trainer:
We will have our staff trainer on hand at the meet beginning around 8:00am. She will be set up inside the football stadium/finish area. If you need a trainer before that time, see Coach Schwartz and I will direct you to the training room.
Water:
We will provide water in the finish line area for all athletes. There is a water source for your coolers and bottles in the locker rooms in the stadium.
Course:
The course is a two loop course- 5000 meters. The start is south of the football stadium by the tennis courts and the finish is inside the stadium. See attached course map.
Parking: 1st parking lot -It is the 1st left turn off of Carlton Drive. (North parking lot at AAHS)
Busses:
Busses will enter the 1st parking lot – It is the 1st left turn off of Carlton Drive – drop off athletes beside the football stadium entrance and park across the street on E. Pine Loop. All busses will need to park on the side of E. Pine Loop located across the street from the athletic parking lot area.

PPAC Cross Country Championship-Thursday, October 1, 2020 - Kadet XC Course at Air Academy High School.
Teams: Air Academy, Cheyenne Mtn, Discovery Canyon, Lewis Palmer and Palmer Ridge

Important Information: Entries are due Tuesday(9/29) at 11:00pm. Please complete your entries through milesplit and follow instructions carefully: 10 entries per team per gender. Please designate 5 entries in each wave.

Base Access Information:
Due to increased USAFA security precautions, all visiting teams participating in Air Academy HS events on the base are required to present a Visiting Team Entry Authorization at the security entrance. Each athlete and coach must possess a current Visiting Team Entry Pass even if travelling in the same vehicle. Each school is allowed only 60 passes per event so please print 60.
Spectators may be on the course and around the stadium but must wear a mask. If in the stadium spectators must remain 6 feet apart and wear a mask. NO PETS allowed during the XC meets A coach from each team will be in the finish area to collect their team's athletes and direct them to the appropriate corral. The coach will be masked, and after finishing, athletes should also mask before leaving the area. A second masked representative for the team may also assist in each team's finish corral to help with post-race issues and re-masking. All athletes, when not competing must wear a mask covering mouth and nose. Athletes can only remove their mask when directed by the official at the start (at this point the rule is athlete can remove their mask after the gun is fired). All athletes will bring their own water as water will not be supplied. All athletes, coaches, officials, timers, spectators must keep six foot social distancing at all possible times.
Bus Information:
Please drop off athletes in 1st parking lot (1st left on Carlton Dr) at stadium entrance. Buses are to park across from the school on the side of E. Pine Loop.
Team Camps:
Under Bleachers - must be 30 feet apart
Awards-Medals for top 10 individuals. Custom Plaques for 1st and 2nd place teams.
Trainer provided-located at the finish line in the stadium.
